staging is an amazing marketing tool, and the investment is a fraction of other moving costs

Consultations: all you need to know

I'll show you how to make your home irresistible! With 94% of buyers searching online, your images have a split second to grab their attention.

During my visit (in-person or online) you'll discover the areas that need attention, inside and out, plus where you don't need to splash out: this alone has saved clients thousands of pounds, as well as a lot of time, disagreements, stress and upheaval

Using mainly what you already have, I'll also advise on room layout, decor, decluttering and finishing touches. You take your own notes as we walk around and can then hit the ground running once I've left.

If you're up for it I might suggest a paint colour, or smaller things like new toiletries and towels – updates that can make a huge difference to the look and feel of a room. Armed with all this information you'll be able to maximise potential so that, teamed with a tempting asking price, there's a buzz when you hit the market.

Next you can choose to do everything yourself, or have a look through my services in the Price List. If you're struggling to declutter, book one or a block of Simplify & Style sessions.

If you're after perfection, get me back to prep and style before the marketing photos are taken (more about this below).

    Got an empty property?
Buyers find it incredibly hard to picture where their furniture will go and if it will fit. Empty rooms actually look smaller than they are.
I have contacts who rent out all the furniture and accessories you need, to both home owners and developers, or can also create incredibly realistic virtual images.

The magic ingredient: interior styling

This is what will lift your property from good to great!

Once you've worked through your consultation notes, I return to check each room, work my magic and ensure everything's looking perfect

Investing in a few hours of my time at this stage is a fraction of other costs associated with selling, and creates the lifestyle your buyers are looking for.

100% of estate agents agree that professional photos attract more viewings than poor-quality ones (HSA Report, 2019).

I can also style alongside a professional property photographer, for those who would like to invest in top-quality, magazine-style marketing images. With this option you'll be emailed a set of photos you can give to your agent and keep as a memento.

Still not convinced? The stats in 'Is home staging really worth it?', below, might change your mind . . .

Spot the difference: bright, uncluttered, styled rooms have the best chance of attracting more viewings, higher offers and selling faster. I always add fresh plants and flowers and have been known to raid clients' gardens!
