I've got the qualifications and experience to know what works (and what doesn't), smooth over any differences in opinion between loved ones and make sure your home looks great online. Even if your budget is modest.

Why I do what I do
When my house in Brighton sparked a bidding war on the first day of viewings, I knew it was time to help others have a more positive experience.
Years earlier I'd put my first flat on the market with the agent who gave the highest valuation. After a quick tidy and clean, I sat back and waited for the offers to roll in. Viewings inevitably dried up.
All my estate agent could suggest was reducing the asking price until it was lower than any I'd been initially given. My listing had gone totally stale and buyers knew I was desperate to move.
I didn't know then about the importance of presentation (and a realistic asking price!).

After that demoralising experience, I became hooked on shows like House Doctor and Location, Location, Location. Fascinated by what made people fall in love with some properties and not others. I studied interior design, home staging and styling around my day job, freelancing for magazines and experimenting on family and friends who were moving.
After qualifying I attended the first UK Home Staging Association forum and launched Jane Lee Interiors soon after. I'm now studying feng shui, which ties in with my other work.
Between projects I write about home staging and styling, design trends, organising, downsizing, decluttering and feng shui. I've been quoted in Livingetc, Ideal Home, Woman & Home, House Beautiful, Homes & Gardens, Sussex Prestige, Absolutely Sussex, The Argus and The i newspaper.
Home is a cottage near the South Downs, between Horsham and Brighton.
